News from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards regional competition: WMS artists Josephine Tortorici & Hailey Palacios won Gold Keys & will advance to nationals in NYC. Hailey & Adelaide Beaman were awarded Silver Keys. Proud of these artists for earning their place at the table!

All RPS 205 schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 23, due to cold weather. All after-school activities will also be cancelled including Y Care. The RPS 205 Administration Building, Sterling Holley, & the Operations Support Center will be open.

West Middle School CAPA students, under the direction of Theatre teacher Michael Apperson, put on The Play that Goes Wrong. Today, they got to perform in front of 400 students from West View, Rolling Green, Ellis, Lewis Lemon and Lathrop elementary schools.

CAPA students at West Middle School present The Play That Goes Wrong! Performances are tonight at 7 & Saturday at 5:30 & 7 PM. Tickets: $10 general admission, $5 students & seniors. Students have poured their hearts into this production, so come out & support their amazing work!
