Libby Wheeler, NurseStudents should report to the school nurse when they are ill or injured. Student admittance will only be allowed with admit from a teacher. Parents will be notified when necessary should illness or injury require additional medical attention. Physical exams are required by Illinois State law before entering kindergarten, fifth, and ninth grades. Lincoln students must have their fifth grade physical exam (or more recent exam) on file. Immunization for diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, and rubella must be up to date. District #205 policy specifically states that all medications must be administered by the school nurse. If you have any questions regarding a specific students health problem, please contact the school nurse.
